Dunc Pearson was born in 1974 – a great year for his family, for me (his future wife!) and for the cultural fabric of not just the UK but the art world as a whole. Dunc exhibited his work in New York, Brazil, Spain, London and Manchester –  myriad art galleries throughout the world. Wherever and whenever Dunc presented his work, people adored the charm, humour, technical brilliance, striking design and colours in his work. In joint exhibitions or art fairs, Dunc’s work stood out not merely for the exceptional brilliance of what the naked eye could see, but also for the visceral reaction which his art demanded.
